What a special time that you are going through in this moment, creating life and going through one of the greatest journeys of body, mind and spirit.

Yoga and pregnancy are a matched made in heaven. The benefits from yoga during pregnancy are;

We have tailored classes for mums to be, where they have a safe space to move their bodies, connect with their babies and connect with other women on the same journey. Learn how your yoga practice can be taken into your labour/birthing process, whether it is a pranayama to take into labour or a certain positions for ease of baby coming through the birth canal.

We know that being pregnant has three trimesters while hardly anyone speaks about the fourth, which is motherhood. This is why we have decided to separate Post Natal classes from Pre-Natal classes. The first few weeks after giving birth are essential to be spending time with baby and connecting with them. The Post Natal classes are chance of continuing that connection with other mums on the same journey but also about reconnecting to the new you. Slowly build yourself up to a dynamic vinyasa flow and enjoy a space to focused on helping you do so.

Pre- Natal Classes

This is a great class for any mum to be who wants to modify their practice, learn techniques to take into labour and honour the connection between mum and bub.  In this class you will connect with other women on the same journey, go through a vinyasa flow, pranayama and finish off with an extended Savasana meditation.  Perfect for any mum to be no matter the birthing plan.

Classes are held at True Woo Cronulla every Thursday at 6pm starting from the 6th of July 2022. True Woo is located at 26 Ewos Parade, Cronulla NSW.

 FAQS

1.       How far along do I need to be to attend Pre-Natal classes?  Generally speaking, women would need to be in their 2nd trimester to attend classes.

2.       How long does the classes go for?  This will be 8 weeks initially with each class being 60mins.  If there is a great response, we can potentially make the classes on-going.

3.       What if I’m electing to have a C-section, can I still attend? Yes absolutely.  These classes are ideal to bring gentle movement and exercise for pregnancy.

4.       What if I never done yoga before?  Yes you are more than welcome to join the class but it is recommended that you consult with your healthcare practitioners before attending.

5.       Will this be good for my baby? Yes, in some movements you will be able to create space for baby to move about in the womb and as always with any movement it allows more oxygenated blood to flow into your body and the baby.

6.       Do I need to bring anything? We are supplying the mat and props but feel free to bring along anything extra that you prefer such as blankets, towels, bolsters.

7.       What if this is my second or third baby, can I still attend?  Yes absolutely. 

8.       How much is it? $24 per class or you can look at buying a 5 or 10class pass.

9.   What if I can’t do the entire class or attend every week?  That’s ok. Attend as many classes as you can and if you need to stop during class, we can set you up in a rest pose.
